Supporting patients with learning disabilities

An NHS England study found that people with learning disabilities have increased risks of hospital admission and death from COVID-19. Healthy Wirral Partners (HWP) works with the Lewisham area of London to support these vulnerable patients during the pandemic and beyond. In this session, hear how HWP and Lewisham used HealtheIntent and data science to identify patients with learning disabilities as a priority group for COVID-19 vaccination. They’ll also detail the other work being done in Lewisham to improve the health and wellbeing of this at-risk population.
